TunnelVision and NoirBNB have partnered together to interactively showcase Black Contemporary Art at Art Basel Miami. Titled “As Is” this art experience will be the first ever at Art Basel to feature all contemporary black artists, bringing a unique perspective to a renowned, international art fair.

As “As Is” is the first of its kind, it is important to understand it’s goal and purpose. The “As Is” team shared more details about their mission with these powerful words: “We present to you, your highest being, presently progressing and filled with the knowledge of self. Complete. An artist is an artist, never trying to be; but existing as.” The lineup includes TunnelVision artists: Stephen Smallwarner, Sophia Dawson, Dexter R. Jones, Geminelle Rollins, DJ Captain Plug, Berchelle Egerton and Joe Hendrix. “As Is” will also feature artists; Marcus Prime, James Thigpen, Jazmine Hayes, Goblin, Laurent Chevalier, and DJ Underdog.

One of the coolest things about this not only will be a unique artist showcase, but it will turn into a full fledged party, giving everyone in attendance, a chance to meet and greet with the artists. “As Is” is more than an art showcase, it is an open door to the exploration of black excellence in the most creative way. This outing will take place on Friday, December 8th in Hialeah, Florida. Showtime is at 6 pm and will not end until 2 am.
