What is your name and what city do you rep?
“My name is D. Denzel I rep Brooklyn and Toronto.”

Tell us about your latest releases, what inspired you to create them?
“My latest release I wanted to create three volumes while people were home.”

What is unique about you and your music?
“What’s unique about me and my music is I can switch to an island flow and turn it off also… I do freestyle on a lot of my songs.”

What shaped your music?
“What shaped my music I believe would be having a father who was a DJ back in the day I only lived with him for 2 years, but the diversity of music and the ear for music I use is in all my tracks.”

When did you realize you were going to make music professionally?
“I knew when I was going to in high school and to find my way so to speak.”

What type of music do you listen to?
“I listen to old school reggae/dancehall r&b and early 2000’s rap 04-08.”

What inspires you to write music?
“Music flows through me so it’s just natural to just make a rhythm for me.”

What do you do when you don’t do music (creative or otherwise) and that you are passionate about?
“Looking for businesses to expand.”

Happiness to you is…
“Its not just a good song that you need its politics and finding what works for you.”

What do you wish you were told when you first started making music that you think would help artists just starting out?
“I got two new albums coming on July 26th on all platforms.”
